Stacy Finishes 17th at Jesse Owens Classic

COLUMBUS, Ohio - Lauren Stacy represented the Wilmington College women's track and field team at the Jesse Owens Classic hosted by Ohio State University on Friday afternoon.

Stacy competed in the hammer throw where, with a toss of 46.88 meters, she finished 17th in the field. The field consisted of 26 student-athletes, the majority from NCAA Division I and II institutions.

The rest of the team competes at the Mount Saint Joseph Invitational tomorrow. The Quakers will be back together on Friday and Saturday of next week at the Ohio Athletic Conference Championships hosted by Ohio Northern University.
