NEW ORLEANS, Lousiana - Wilmington College women's track & field seniors Emma Burke and Kayli Sullivan earned All-Great Lakes Region honors handed out by the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).
In order to garner All-Region honors, individuals needed to be top five in their respective events in each region. Burke's time of 1:04.00 at the Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) Outdoor Championships was a top-five time within the Great Lakes Region and earned Burke runner-up honors in the event.
Sullivan, the OAC champion in the shot put with a mark of 41' 9 1/4", earned All-Region recognition in the shot put as well as the hammer throw with her heave of 169' 6" at the OAC Elite Meet on April 17th.
Wilmington finished the 2021 outdoor season tied for seventh at the OAC Championships.
