The Fightin' Quakers finished with 84 points, 14 behind Ohio Northern University (ONU), which won the meet. Host Capital came in third with 40 total points.

Wilmington's field athletes started the day with two victories from none other than Kayli Sullivan as she took first place in both the weight throw (50' 10.25") and the shot put (40' 2.25").  Jenna Henneman and Lily Williford both cleared 7' 8.5" in pole vault taking home fourth and fifth place finishes, followed by a Madison Dietz victory in the long jump with a pitfall of 15' 7" as well as Dietz second victory of the day in the triple jump landing 30' 9.25" out in the sand.

On the track side, the running was led off by a Quaker win in the mile run by Milena Wahl in a time of 5:36.30 and a fifth place finish in the mile for Savannah Rhodes finishing in 6:37.92. Sydney Fields (10.65) and Williford (10.85) finished neck and neck in the 60-meter hurdles  to place third and fourth.

In the 400-meter dash the women had two top five finishes with Fields crossing the line in second (1:06.46) and Miranda Gibson finishing in fifth (1:11.38). Madison Dietz earned her third first place finish of the day with a time of 8.61 in the 60-meter dash, shortly after, Rhodes finished third in the 800-meter run in a time of 2:54.29 with Skye Carpenter right behind with a time of 3:07.56.  Field finished third in the 200-meter dash clocking in at 29.47, and to wrap up the day Julia Bystrom and Kaitlyn Rauch finished third and fourth in the 3000-meter run.

"I thought the team made some good progress this weekend at Capital," Head Women's Track & Field Coach Ron Combs stated. "A Lot of people on the team had season bests. We had some breakthrough performances in a few events that may give us some scoring opportunities at the OAC meet in two weeks."

Wilmington will return to Capital University next weekend to wrap up the indoor regular season.
