WILMINGTON, Ohio - The Wilmington College Women's track and field team will travel to Marietta College for the outdoor season opener.  

The Schedule:  Track and Field events lead off at 10:00 AM with High Jump and the 10,000-meter run.    

The Teams:  Wilmington will go head-to-head against the entire Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC). 

The Coach: Ron Combs continues his 23rd season as the head coach of Wilmington's men's and women's track and field teams. Combs has been named Coach of the Year, twice by the Heartland Athletic Conference, and once by the OAC. In 2002, he led the men's indoor team to a sixth-place finish at NCAA DIII Championships.

Who to Watch:   The Quaker women will showcase Senior Emma Burke in the 200-meter dash and the 400-meter dash as she competes in her final season with the team. Also, Senior Kayli Sullivan, who placed first in Shotput and second in Weight Throw at indoor conference, will be opening the outdoor season with Hammer Throw.
