UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS, Ohio - The Wilmington College wrestling team was shutout 58-0 at John Carroll University in an Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) dual meet at the Tony DeCarlo Varsity Center on Tuesday evening.
The Quakers sent four individuals to the dual, two of which lost via fall and two via technical fall.
In the 165-pound weight class, Ryan Forrest defeated Adrian Salamone via technical fall in 3:48 while Adam Salek took 6:30 to beat Alexander Ruth at the 174-pound weight class, also via technical fall. Garrett Simmons (157-pound weight class) and Mo Sissoko (285-pound weight class) were pinned in 2:02 and 4:26 respectively. The Blue Streaks won all other weight classes via forfeit.
Wilmington heads back to Northeast Ohio on Saturday for the OAC Duals held at the University of Mount Union on Saturday.
