WILMINGTON, Ohio - The Wilmington College wrestling team opens the New Year heading to the Jim Bongo Bayly Open in St. Louis, Missouri, on Saturday.
The Coach: Chris Basford enters his first year as WC's head wrestling coach in 2022-23. Basford has experience coaching at multiple institutions including Limestone College (South Carolina), Maryville Univerity (St. Louis) and the University of Nebraska-Omaha. Most recently, he led Limestone to a 10-4 mark as interim coach in 2021-22.
