ADA, Ohio - The Wilmington College wrestling team opened the Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) portion of its schedule with a 60-0 defeat at Ohio Northern University (ONU) inside the ONU Sports Center on Tuesday evening.
The Polar Bears won all 10 weight classes with six of them being forfeits. In the four flights that wrestled, the hosts earned pins in each.
- In the 165-pound weight class, No. 12 Jordan Hardrick defeated Garrett Simmons via fall in 1:53.
- In the 184-pound weight class, Gavin Layman defeated Adrian Salamone via fall in 2:11.
- In the 197-pound weight class, Sea Gast bested Brayden Smith via fall in 1:19.
- In the 285-pound weight class, Jadon Brownlee beat Mo Sissoko in 2:58 via pin.
Wilmington returns to action at home for an OAC dual against Muskingum University on Nov. 29.
