WILMINGTON, Ohio - The Wilmington College wrestling team continues Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) play on Tuesday with a trip to John Carroll University. The match is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.
The Coaches: Chris Basford enters his first year as WC's head wrestling coach in 2022-23. Basford has experience coaching at multiple institutions including Limestone College (South Carolina), Maryville Univerity (St. Louis) and the University of Nebraska-Omaha. Most recently, he led Limestone to a 10-4 mark as interim coach in 2021-22. Mark Hawald, a former National Coach of the Year and three-time OAC Coach of the Year, is in his eighth season as John Carroll's head coach.
