Softball to Host Prospect Camp on Nov. 14

WILMINGTON, Ohio - The Wilmington College softball program is hosting a prospect camp for softball players in grades 9-12 on campus on Nov. 14.

The prospect camp, which costs $85 for pitchers & catchers and $75 for offensive & defensive players, runs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. with an additional hour for pitchers & catchers. The camp is designed for more advanced softball players in grades 9-12, specifically for those with a desire to compete at the college level. Clinic participants will receive hands-on instruction as they rotate through multiple offensive and defensive stations. The day will begin with a meeting and campus tour

There will be an additional pitching and catching session. Pitchers will need to provide their own catchers.

Head Coach Beth Floyd and assistant coaches Jillia Cook, Brett Sadler and Je'Taysia Johns will lead the instruction of the prospect camp.  Members of the 2021-2022 Wilmington College softball team will also be assisting in the instruction.
