WILMINGTON, Ohio - The Wilmington College men's basketball team returns home to host Muskingum University on Wednesday evening. Tip-off for the Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) contest from Fred Raizk Arena is scheduled for 7 p.m.

The Teams: Wilmington and Muskingum. The Fightin' Quakers enter the game 2-10 and in search of their first OAC win after a 78-61 defeat at No. 8 Marietta College on Saturday. The Fighting Muskies are 3-10 overall and also in search of conference win No. 1 after a 79-67 defeat at Baldwin Wallace University on Saturday.

The Coaches: K.C. Hunt is in his 15th season as head coach of Wilmington's men's basketball program. Hunt, who has coached two All-Americans and seven of the school's 1,000-point scorers, led the Quakers to OAC Tournament titles in 2010 and 2014. He garnered Great Lakes Region Coach of the Year honors for guiding Wilmington to OAC Tournament title and a win in the NCAA Division III Tournament in 2010. Travis Schwab, one of the most decorated players in Ohio Wesleyan University history, is in his seventh season as Muskingum's head coach.

The Players: Two-time First Team All-OAC selection Jeffery Mansfield leads Wilmington in several categories including scoring (14.1 points), rebounding (6.8 boards) and assists (4.4). Noah Dado grabs 6.7 rebounds per 40 minutes while Dado, Collmann Aaron, Bryce Bird and Anthony Freeman contribute over five points per game. Similar to Wilmington, Muskingum also features an individual who leads the team in several categories. Alex Masinelli averages 19.6 points, 7.0 rebounds and 4.1 assists per contest. 

Tale of the Tape: Points per game – Wilmington 66.7 Muskingum 74.2; opponents' points per game – Wilmington 73.5, Muskingum 79.8; field goal percentage – Wilmington 38.6, Muskingum 44.2; three-point percentage – Wilmington 28.6, Muskingum 35.0; free throw percentage – Wilmington 63.2, Muskingum 76.1; rebounding margin – Wilmington -3.9, Marietta +1.4; assist-to-turnover ratio – Wilmington 0.96, Muskingum 0.97.

Spectator Policy: After the conclusion of the fall semester, Wilmington College updated its COVID-19 campus protocols. This includes no spectators until and including January 20th.
