WILMINGTON, Ohio - The Wilmington College men's basketball team faces off against John Carroll University for the second time in three days as the Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) Tournament begins on Monday. The Fightin' Quakers, seeded No. 7, host the Blue Streaks, seeded No. 10, in an opening-round game at 8 p.m.

The Teams: Wilmington and John Carroll (JCU). The Fightin' Quakers concluded the regular season 6-18 overall including 4-14 in conference games after an 85-84 win at JCU on Saturday. The Blue Streaks, after falling in that one-point contest, went 7-15 overall and 2-13 in OAC contests on the season.

The Coaches: K.C. Hunt is in his 15th season as head coach of Wilmington's men's basketball program. Hunt, who has coached two All-Americans and seven of the school's 1,000-point scorers, led the Quakers to OAC Tournament titles in 2010 and 2014. He garnered Great Lakes Region Coach of the Year honors for guiding Wilmington to OAC Tournament title and a win in the NCAA Division III Tournament in 2010. Pete Moran, a 2008 JCU alumnus and son of long-time coach Mike Moran, is in his fifth season as the Blue Streaks' head coach. He led his alma mater to a Sweet 16 appearance in the NCAA Division III Men's Basketball Tournament in his first year as head coach, the 2017-18 season.

The Players: Jeffery Mansfield, a two-time All-OAC selection, leads Wilmington in scoring at 16.2 points per game while also assisting on 4.5 of his teamates baskets per contest. The Wilmington High School alumnus, who poured in 22 points in Saturday's win at JCU, is 1-of-2 Quakers to grab at least a half-dozen rebounds per game. Noah Dado, who scores 7.4 points per game, grabs a team-best 7.4 rebounds per game. Collmann Aaron, Anthony Freeman and Bryce Bird also score over six points. A quartet of Blue Streaks - Chase Toppin, Jackson Sartain, Eric Hanna and David Gentry - score in double figures with Toppin and Sartain leading the way at 18.8 and 17.7 points respectively.

Tale of the Tape: Points per game – Wilmington 67.1, JCU 82.6; opponents' points per game – Wilmington 74.1, JCU 87.7; field goal percentage – Wilmington 39.5, JCU 42.5; three-point percentage – Wilmington 30.0, JCU 33.2; free throw percentage – Wilmington 68.1, JCU 69.9; rebounding margin – Wilmington -5.8, JCU -1.3; assist-to-turnover ratio – Wilmington 0.93, JCU 1.10.

Recent History: Wilmington is 15-31 against John Carroll since becoming an OAC member prior to the 2000-01 season.
