WILMINGTON, Ohio - The Wilmington College men's basketball team continues Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) play by hosting Ohio Northern University at Fred Raizk Arena on Wednesday evening. Tip-off is slated for 7 p.m.

The Teams: Wilmington and Ohio Northern (ONU). The Fightin' Quakers are 4-12 overall and 2-8 in OAC play after an 85-75 defeat at Baldwin Wallace University on Saturday. The Polar Bears are 7-8 on the season and 1-7 in conference competition after an 80-64 defeat against No. 6 Marietta College.

The Coaches: K.C. Hunt is in his 15th season as head coach of Wilmington's men's basketball program. Hunt, who has coached two All-Americans and seven of the school's 1,000-point scorers, led the Quakers to OAC Tournament titles in 2010 and 2014. He garnered Great Lakes Region Coach of the Year honors for guiding Wilmington to OAC Tournament title and a win in the NCAA Division III Tournament in 2010. Rich Bensman is in his 10th season with the ONU men's basketball program including his sixth as head coach.

The Players: Jeffery Mansfield, a two-time First Team All-OAC selection, leads Wilmington in several statistical categories including scoring (16.2 points), rebounding (6.5 boards) and assists (4.4 assists) per contest. Collmann Aaron and Anthony Freeman both score at least seven points a contest while Noah Dado grabs over six rebounds per 40 minutes. A quartet of Polar Bears – C.J. Napier, Brandon Waugh, Adam Scott and Landen Long – all score in double figures with Napier leading the bunch at 14.7 points per game and also grabs a team-best eight rebounds a contest.

Tale of the Tape: Points per game – Wilmington 68.5, ONU 69.3; opponents' points per game – Wilmington 73.0, ONU 75.8; field goal percentage – Wilmington 40.4, ONU 44.4; three-point percentage – Wilmington 31.3, ONU 35.8; free throw percentage – Wilmington 64.9, ONU 63.6; rebounding margin – Wilmington -4.3, ONU +0.2; assist-to-turnover ratio – Wilmington 0.93, ONU 0.91.

Recent History: Wilmington is 19-28 against Ohio Northern since becoming an NCAA Division III member prior to the 1990-91 season. ONU claimed a 72-68 come-from-behind win in overtime earlier this season. More information on the series history can be viewed by visiting the link above.

Limited Spectators: The game is opened to a limited number of spectators - four individuals per WC student-athlete and a 50-person pass list for visiting teams
