WILMINGTON, Ohio – The Wilmington College volleyball team continues Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) play on Saturday when Baldwin Wallace University comes to Fred Raizk Arena for a 1 p.m. match.

The Teams: Wilmington and Baldwin Wallace (BW). The Fightin' Quakers are looking for their first conference win after a straight-set defeat at No. 20 Otterbein University on Wednesday. The Yellow Jackets are 16-9 overall and 2-4 in OAC competition after a five-set loss to John Carroll University at home on Wednesday.

The Coaches: A new era of Wilmington volleyball has arrived Sophie Windover, a former collegiate player and assistant at Heidelberg University, takes over as head coach. She helped guide the Student Princes to a 21-8 record and an appearance in the AVCA Top 25 Poll. Kacie Ehinger is in her third season at Baldwin Wallace and has won over 50 matches at the helm.

The Players: Sofia Thomas leads Wilmington offensively with a 2.30 kills per set average. Three other Quakers – Sydney Geibel, Victoria Long, Joy Bebe – put down over 1.40 kills per set. Setter Andie Dolven runs Wilmington's 5-1 offense to the tunes of 7.19 assists per set while Blake O'Brien, WC's libero, leads the back row averaging nearly five digs per set. BW is led by Ivy earl and Cecelia Hamisch, both of whom average over 3.25 kills per set. Isa Luciano and Allison Weiner both put down over two kills per set while Lauren Reid dishes out over 9.50 assists per set.

Series History: Wilmington is 1-11 against BW since the 2008 season. The Yellow Jackets have won the last 11 meets in straight sets. More information on the series history can be viewed by visiting the link above.
