WILMINGTON, Ohio – The Wilmington College volleyball team continues Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) play on Saturday with a trip to Ban Johnson Arena on Saturday. First serve is slated for 1 p.m.

The Teams: Wilmington and Marietta. The Fightin' Quakers are 3-19 on the season and in search of their first conference victory after a straight-set loss to No. 14 Ohio Northern University on Wednesday. 

The Coaches: A new era of Wilmington volleyball has arrived Sophie Windover, a former collegiate player and assistant at Heidelberg University, takes over as head coach. She helped guide the Student Princes to a 21-8 record and an appearance in the AVCA Top 25 Poll. Kristy Newman is in her fourth season as Marietta's head volleyball coach. The Pioneers won six OAC matches a season ago.

The Players: Sofia Thomas leads Wilmington offensively with a 2.43 kills per set average. Three other Quakers – Sydney GeibelVictoria LongJoy Bebe – put down nearly 1.50 kills per set. Setter Andie Dolven runs Wilmington's 5-1 offense to the tunes of 7.22 assists per set while Blake O'Brien, WC's libero, leads the back row averaging over five digs per set. A trio of Pioneers - Mia Silva, Maggie Fellers and Lauren Radalia - all put down over two kills per set while Jenna Szabelski dishes out over eight assists per game.
