Marietta Defeats Volleyball in Straight Sets

MARIETTA, Ohio - The Wilmington College volleyball team hit a positive attack percentage in all three sets, but Marietta College eclipsed the .300 clip in each set in a 25-17, 25-13, 25-15 Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) victory on Saturday afternoon.

The Pioneers (5-14, 2-3 OAC) finished with 46 kills and hit a .340 attack percentage for the match. Mia Silva and Maggie Fellers both put down nine kills to lead the Marietta offense. Lauren Radalia and Maris Kaiser both put down seven kills while Braya Elsea and Alayna Ricker combined to dish out 38 assists.

Sydney Geibel put down eight kills to lead the Fightin' Quakers offensively while Shelby Stoops had four kills. Andie Dolven assisted on 23-of-24 Wilmington kills while Geibel and libero Macee Hamilton had double-digit dig performances.

Wilmington continues OAC play at Otterbein University on Wednesday. First serve from the Rike Center is scheduled for 7 p.m.
