Men's Swimming Begins Second Half of Season at Mount Union Saturday

WILMINGTON, Ohio - The Wilmington College men's swimming team takes to the pool for the first time in 2020 on Saturday for an Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) dual meet at the University of Mount Union. Events are slated to begin at 1 p.m.

The Coaches: Trip Breen is in his 21st season as the head coach of Wilmington's men's and women's swimming teams. Breen has been named Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) Men's Coach of the Year four times, the most recently in the 2016-17 season. Eric Mojock is in his 13th season as Mount Union's head coach.

Who to Watch: In freestyle events, Logan Schroer has Wilmington's top times in the 50-yard, 100-yard and 200-yard events with the first two coming against Baldwin Wallace University and the later in a double dual with Transylvania University and Wittenberg University. Isak Alin has been the Fightin' Quakers' top performer in backstroke, breaststroke and IM events including breaking his own school record in the 100-yard IM at the Ohio Wesleyan University Invitational on Nov. 23-24, 2019. Aaron Polk's swam the quickest time in the 200-yard butterfly and the second-best mark in the 100-yard butterfly.
