Men's Swimming Heads to Wittenberg for Double Dual Saturday

WILMINGTON, Ohio - The Wilmington College men's swimming team heads to Springfield, Ohio, and Wittenberg University for a double dual meet with host Wittenberg and Transylvania University on Saturday. The first event is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m.

The Coach: Trip Breen is in his 20th season as the head coach of Wilmington's men's and women's swimming teams. Breen has been named Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) Men's Coach of the Year four times, the most recently in the 2016-17 season.

Who to Watch: Isak Alin, an All-Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) honoree last season, placed runner-up in three events in the Fightin' Quakers' dual meet with Ohio Northern University - the 50-meter breaststroke (31.48 seconds), the 100-meter breaststroke (1:09.71) and the 200-meter IM (2:19.37). Logan Schroer turned in two individual third-place finishes - 58.67 seconds in the 100-meter freestyle and 29.06 seconds in the 50-meter butterfly.
