WILMINGTON, Ohio – The Wilmington College men's basketball team returns to Hermann Court on Wednesday for an Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) contest against Otterbein University. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m.

The Teams: Wilmington and Otterbein. The Fightin' Quakers are 9-11 overall and 5-9 in OAC play after falling 109-81 at John Carroll University on Saturday. The Cardinals are 1-20 on the season and 1-13 in the conference after a 76-63 loss at the hands of Baldwin Wallace University on Saturday.

The Coaches: K.C. Hunt enters his 11th season as head coach of Wilmington's men's basketball program. Hunt, who has coached two All-Americans and seven of the school's 1,000-point scorers, led the Quakers to OAC Tournament titles in 2010 and 2014. The second-winningest coach in program history garnered Great Lakes Region Coach of the Year honors for guiding Wilmington to OAC Tournament title and a win in the NCAA Division III Tournament in 2010. Brian Oilar, a former DePauw University assistant coach, is in his third season as Otterbein's head men's basketball coach.

The Players: A trio of Quakers average double figures in scoring with Christian Jones leading the way at 19.8 points per game after his 35-point, career-high performance at John Carroll on Saturday. Nathan Scott (12.8 points per game) and Will Patrick (12.2 points per game) also score in double figures. Andrew Russell leads the team in rebounding at 4.3 boards per contest while D.J. Iles dishes out 3.2 assists per contest. Justin Carter is Otterbein's top offensive threat at 13.1 points per game while being second on the squad in rebounding at 4.3 boards per contest.

Tale of the Tape: Points per game – Wilmington 82.5, Otterbein 67.6; opponents' points per game – Wilmington 83.8, Otterbein 82.0; field goal percentage – Wilmington 42.4, Otterbein 42.0; three-point percentage – Wilmington 37.5, Otterbein 30.2; free throw percentage – Wilmington 78.8, Otterbein 71.3; rebounds per game – Wilmington 31.4, Otterbein 32.1; assist-to-turnover ratio – Wilmington 1.11, Otterbein 0.80.

Quest for OAC Tournament: Wilmington is currently tied with Heidelberg University for eighth place in the OAC with four games remaining. The top eight teams qualify for the OAC Tournament later this month.
