WILMINGTON, Ohio - The Wilmington College women's swimming team heads to Northeast Ohio and Akron University's Ocasek Natatorium for the 2020 Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) Swimming and Diving Championships on Feb. 13-15.

The Schedule: Morning preliminaries are scheduled for 10 a.m. each day. Evening finals will begin at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, 6 p.m. on Friday and 5:45 p.m. on Saturday.

The Teams: Wilmington will be joined by the other four OAC schools that sponsor swimming and diving at the varsity level - Baldwin Wallace University (hosts), John Carroll University, the University of Mount Union and Ohio Northern University.

The Coach: Trip Breen is in his 21st season as the head coach of Wilmington's men's and women's swimming teams. Breen has been named Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) Men's Coach of the Year four times, the most recently in the 2016-17 season.

Who to Watch: In freestyle events, Margaret Hover has been the Fightin' Quakers' best sprinter in freestyle events this far this season including the 50-yard, 100-yard, 500-yard and 1,000-yard events. Macki Leon, who has teamed up with Hover on Wilmington's undefeated 200-yard freestyle relay squad, has the team's best times in backstroke and IM events. She also won the 200-yard freestyle at the Ohio Wesleyan University Invitational on Nov. 23-24, 2019. Maryn Herring boasts the best marks in butterfly events while Fynn Roberts leads the Quakers' breaststrokers.
