Women's Swimming Hosts John Carroll for Senior Day Meet on Saturday

WILMINGTON, Ohio - The Wilmington College women's swimming team competes in the WC Natatorium one final time on Saturday when John Carroll University comes to town for a 1 p.m. dual meet on Saturday.

The Coach: Trip Breen is in his 21st season as the head coach of Wilmington's men's and women's swimming teams. Breen has been named Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) Men's Coach of the Year four times, the most recently in the 2016-17 season.

Who to Watch: In freestyle events, Margaret Hover has been the Fightin' Quakers' best sprinter in freestyle events this far this season including the 50-yard, 100-yard, 500-yard and 1,000-yard events. Macki Leon, who has teamed up with Hover on Wilmington's undefeated 200-yard freestyle relay squad, has the team's best times in backstroke and IM events. She also won the 200-yard freestyle at the Ohio Wesleyan University Invitational on Nov. 23-24, 2019. Maryn Herring boasts the best marks in butterfly events while Fynn Roberts leads the Quakers' breaststrokers.
