Women's Swimming to Compete in Double Dual on Saturday

WILMINGTON, Ohio - The Wilmington College women's swimming team will compete in its second double dual match in as many weeks on Saturday. The Fightin' Quakers head to Stuebenville High School to swim against Franciscan University and Hiram College.

The Coach: Trip Breen is in his 20th season as the head coach of Wilmington's men's and women's swimming teams. Breen has been named Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) Men's Coach of the Year four times, the most recently in the 2016-17 season.

Who to Watch: In freestyle events, Margaret Hover has two of Wilmington's top three times including the 100-yard freestyle and 200-yard freestyle events while Macki Leon in backstroke and IM events. Freshman Alyssa Harper finished runner-up in two events for the Quakers in the double dual at Wittenberg University, in the 200-yard butterfly (2:37.93) and the 1,000-yard freestyle (12:04.08).
