Wrestling to Open OAC Play at Muskingum on Tuesday

WILMINGTON, Ohio - The Wilmington College wrestling team opens Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) competition with a dual meet in New Concord, Ohio, against Muskingum University on Tuesday. Matches are scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.

The Teams: Wilmington and Muskingum. This dual will be the Fightin' Quakers' second of the season as the squad competed at the Trine University Invitational over the weekend. Both Alex Hobbs and Shadrach Brausch won individual matches for WC. The Fighting Muskies competed at the Washington & Jefferson University Invitational and finished 13th-of-17.

The Coach: Justin Kihn enters his fourth season as the Head Coach for the Quakers. Kihn comes to Wilmington after graduating and being an assistant coach at Heidelberg University. As an athlete, Kihn was Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) Wrestler of the Year his senior year, as well as Academic All-American and Division III All-American. He finished fourth nationally (in the 141-pound weight class) at the NCAA Championships.
