WILMINGTON, Ohio - The Wilmington College wrestling team begins the 2021-22 campaign at the Trine Invitational hosted by Trine University on Saturday. The first dual meets of the day are slated to begin at 9:30 a.m.
The Teams: Wilmington will be joined by host Trine along with Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) members Baldwin Wallace University, Heidelberg University and John Carroll University. Other schools in attendance include: Cleary University, Grand Valley State University, Indiana Institute of Technology, Macomb Community College, Olivet College, Rochester University and the University of Chicago.
The Coach: Justin Kihn enters his fourth season as the Head Coach for the Quakers. Kihn comes to Wilmington after graduating and being an assistant coach at Heidelberg University. As an athlete, Kihn was Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) Wrestler of the Year his senior year, as well as Academic All-American and Division III All-American. He finished fourth nationally (in the 141-pound weight class) at the NCAA Championships.
