Brausch Wins Heavyweight Class in Wrestling's Loss at Baldwin Wallace

RESULTS

BEREA, Ohio - Shadrach Brausch was the lone Fightin' Quaker to win a weight class on Tuesday as the Wilmington College wrestling team lost 49-3 at Baldwin Wallace in an Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) dual.

The Wilmington High School alumnus defeated Jarod Miller via a 10-7 decision in the 285-pound weight class. Alex Hobbs's match with Carter Lloyd also went to decision, but the Yellow Jacket took the three points by an 11-6 score. Patrick Kelley (157-pounds weight class) and Skyler Cowgill (184-pound weight class) both lost via technical fall.
 
Baldwin Wallace took six points in all other flights to earn the win.

Wilmington heads to the OAC duals at Heidelberg University this weekend.
