WILMINGTON, Ohio - Alex Hobbs and Caleb Tackett won individuals matches for the Wilmington College wrestling team in a 43-9 Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) defeat to Ohio Northern University (ONU) at Fred Raizk Arena on Tuesday evening.

Hobbs, wrestling in the 174-pound weight class, won his 18th match of the 2021-22 season by defeating Adam Dillon via a 9-4 decision. Tackett, competing in the 197-pound weight class, won his second OAC match of the year by pinning Jimmy Paletta in 5:26. The Polar Bears took all other flights by either forfeit, pin or technical fall except the heavyweight bout.
