WILMINGTON, Ohio – The Wilmington College volleyball team continues Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) play on Wednesday evening when Muskingum University comes to Fred Raizk Arena for a 7 p.m. match.

The Teams: Wilmington and Muskingum. The Fightin' Quakers are 3-16 overall and 0-1 in conference play after a competitive four-set loss to Heidelberg University to open the conference season on Saturday. The Fighting Muskies are 9-7 overall and 1-1 in OAC competition after a straight-set defeat at Ohio Northern University last Wednesday.

The Coaches: A new era of Wilmington volleyball has arrived Sophie Windover, a former collegiate player and assistant at Heidelberg University, takes over as head coach. She helped guide the Student Princes to a 21-8 record and an appearance in the AVCA Top 25 Poll. Hallie Cruzen, a former national champion setter at Wittenberg University, is in her fifth season as Muskingum's head coach. She led the Muskies to the OAC Championship last spring.

The Players: Sofia Thomas leads Wilmington offensively with a 2.58 kills per set average. Three other Quakers – Sydney Geibel, Victoria Long, Joy Bebe – put down 1.50 kills per set. Setter Andie Dolven runs Wilmington's 5-1 offense to the tunes of 7.52 assists per set while Blake O'Brien, WC's libero, leads the back row averaging over five digs per set. Maddie McGee and Brooke Bigrigg combine for over six kills per set for the Musky offense. Erin Dickson and Emma Conrad run a 6-2 offense and dish out nearly nine assists per set.
