WILMINGTON, Ohio - The Wilmington College volleyball team is anxious to get to the court for the 2021 fall season under new leadership of Head Coach Sophie Windover.

The Fightin' Quakers open the season with a trio of home matches against the University of Northwestern Ohio and Midway University on Sept. 1 as well as Defiance College on Sept. 6. A road match at the College of Wooster follows on Sept. 8 before Wilmington travels down Interstate 71 to Cincinnati for the Mount St. Joseph University Invitational on Sept. 10-11 for contests against three Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) foes (MSJ, Anderson University and Manchester University) as well as a bout with Greenville College.

Wilmington will visit fellow Quaker school Earlham College for the Quaker Bowl Rivalry game before traveling to the Hanover Invitational for four matches on Sept. 17-18. The month of September closes out with a home match against Bluffton University (Sept. 22), a road contest at Defiance College (Sept. 25) and two matches at Central State University on Sept. 29.

Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) play begins with Heidelberg University on Oct. 2 with Adrian College coming for a tri-match at Fred Raizk Arena that same day. The Quakers will then face Muskingum University (Oct. 6) and Ohio Northern University (Oct. 13) on the following two Wednesdays and travel to the University of Mount Union (Oct. 9) and Marietta College (Oct. 16) the following two Saturdays. In the final half of the month, the schedule flips with Wilmington playing at home on Saturdays against Baldwin Wallace University (Oct. 23) and John Carroll University (Oct. 30) and on the road on Wednesdays at Otterbein (Oct. 20) and at Capital University (Oct. 27). The Quakers will close out the regular season against Olivet College on Oct. 30.
