WILMINGTON, Ohio - The Wilmington College women's cross country team heads out to New Concord for the Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) Cross Country Championships. The meet will be hosted at Moorehead Farm by Muskingum University for the first time in over 10 years. The weather is projected to be slightly warm and perfect racing conditions. The course winds through the perimeter of the farm and has hills scattered throughout.

The Race: The women's 6,000-meter race will start at 1 p.m.

The Teams: Wilmington will go head-to-head against every team in the OAC.

The Coach: Ron Combs enters his 27th season as head cross country coach at Wilmington College. A 1993 graduate of Wilmington, Combs was a member of the only cross country team to win a conference title in school history. Also the head track & field coach at the College, Combs led the Fightin' Quakers to two top-10 finishes nationally with a sixth place finish at the 2002 NCAA Division III Men's Indoor Track & Field Championships and a seventh place mark at the 2004 Women's Indoor Track & Field Championships.

The Squad: The Quakers have a few seniors running in possibly their last meet of their cross country career. Julia Bystrom, AJ Houseman and Jordan Snarr will be toeing the grass for what may be their last hoorah. The trio has run side-by-side all season long and will finish out the season in the same manner. Bella Stevens will look to lead the charge for the squad as she races in her final race of the 2022 season.

Coverage: Live results link will be listed above and results will be posted after the conclusion of the race.
