Women's Cross Country Concludes Season at Great Lakes Regional

HOLLAND, Michigan - The Wilmington College women's cross country team closed out its 2022 season running three individuals at the NCAA Division III Great Lakes Cross Country Regional hosted by Hope College on Saturday.

AJ Houseman was the top Quaker to finish, placing 217th with a time of 27:01.2. Teammates Kaitlyn Rauch and Julia Bystrom were not far behind as Rauch finished the six-kilometer course in 27:36.5 and Bystom turning in a mark of 28:03.8. Anastasia Tucker of the host Flying Dutch won the individual regional title with a time of 20:46.0.

Fellow Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) member John Carroll University won the regional with 81 points while Calvin University finished second. Host Hope was third and The University of Mount Union was fourth.
