TIFFIN, Ohio - The Wilmington College women's cross country team came out of week two with a fourth-place finish at the Tiffelberg Open on Friday evening. Hosts, Tiffin University and Heidelberg University finished first and second respectively. Bluffton University finished just ahead of the Quakers in third.
Milena Wahl had quite the season opener finishing third place in the race. Her finishing time of 19:15 is her fastest 5,000-meter during cross country. Julia Bystrom finished second on the team while placing 20th in the race in a time of 23:57. AJ Houseman crossed a minute after Bystrom for a 22nd place finish.
The Quakers head to Cedarville University next Friday for the All-Ohio Intercollegiate Championships.
