Women's Track & Field Continues Outdoor Season at Marv Frye Invitational

WILMINGTON, Ohio - The Wilmington College women's track & field team heads north to Delaware, Ohio for the Marv Frye Invitational. After the start to the season last weekend, the Quakers look to continue a full outdoor season of track. 

The Schedule: Hammer throw starts the day off for field events at 9:00 AM with steeplechase getting track events started at 12:30 PM.

The Teams: The Quakers will be joined by a plethora of collegiate talent. 

The Coach: Ron Combs continues his 24th season as the head coach of Wilmington's men's and women's track and field teams. Combs has been named Coach of the Year, twice by the Heartland Athletic Conference, and once by the OAC. In 2002, he led the men's indoor team to a sixth-place finish at NCAA DIII Championships.

Who to Watch: Emma Burke is coming off of a great start to her final season as the senior is seeded first in the 100-meter hurdles and second in the 400-meter dash. Milena Wahl has stayed hot since indoor season and is the third seeded runner in the 5,000-meter run. Madison Dietz (long jump) and Kayli Sullivan (hammer throw) are the top seeded athletes in their respective events.
