Women's Track & Field Concludes Indoor Regular Season at Wittenberg

WITTENBERG, Ohio –  The Wilmington College women's track & field team concludes the indoor track regular season in fashion as multiple athletes claim personal bests and others claim top spots in events. The Quakers ended a good indoor season at the Wittenberg Invite. 

Kayli Sullivan highlighted her day with a first place finish and facility record in shot put with a toss of 40' 7.75". She followed with a second place finish in weight throw with a mark of 50' 4". Madison Dietz finished out the field events with a fourth place mark in long jump and a sixth place distance in triple jump. 

The Quaker 4x200 squad of Kylee Schafer, Lily Williford, Rachel Spanfellner and Jenna Victor finished second with a finishing time of 1:55.08. Schafer doubled back and took sixth in the 400-meter run with a first time mark of 1:03.66. Rounding out the day for Wilmington, Kaitlyn Rauch set a 40-second personal best in the one mile run with a new lifetime best 6:49.75. 

With this meet being the conclusion of the indoor track regular season, the Quakers head to Mount Union for the Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) Indoor Championships on February 25-26 as post-season is underway.
