ASHLAND, Ohio - The Wilmington College women's track & field team sent a quintet of Fightin' Quakers to compete in the women's weight throw at the Jud Logan Light Giver Open hosted by Ashland University on Saturday. The event was originally scheduled for two days and moved to a single day due to weather in the region.

Kayli Sullivan led the way with a heave of 48' 10" to place 20th while a pair of teammates - Megan Roell and Lexi Grice - finished 40th (41' 7 3/4") and 41st (40' 11 3/4") respectively. Abby Lodewyck and Molly Hafer rounded out Wilmington's placers with throws of 37' 3 3/4" (48th) and 33' 10 1/4" (50th) respectively.

Wilmington returns to action at the All-Ohio meet hosted by Otterbein University on Feb. 12.
