Women's Track & Field Completes a Successful Day One at OAC Indoor Championships

ALLIANCE, Ohio – The Wilmington College women's track & field team finished day one of the Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) in seventh place with a score of 11 points. John Carroll leads the way with 82 points with hosts Mount Union close behind with 78points.
 
Kayli Sullivan got the day started for the Quakers with a podium finish and All-OAC honor in weight throw. Sullivan threw a third-place toss of 51' 1.5" to secure a top spot. This is her second year in a row finishing top three at indoor conference and third year scoring in the top eight.
 
Madison Dietz finished in eighth place in long jump, securing another individual top eight finish for the team. On her first attempt, Dietz pounced 16' 9.25". To close out the first day of action for the Quakers, the distance medley relay (DMR) squad made up of Milena Wahl, Savannah Rhodes, Kolby Gluchowski and Kylee Schafer finished fifth in a time of 13:45.

Wilmington will be back at it again tomorrow for day two of OAC Indoor Championship action.
