Women's Track & Field Heads to MSJ Invitational to Open the New Year

WILMINGTON, Ohio - The Wilmington College women's track & field team stays local as it heads to Cincinnati, Ohio, to start the New Year on Saturday. The Mount St. Joseph University Invitational is the next stop of many for the indoor track season. 

The Schedule: Action begins at 11:00 a.m.  

The Teams: The Quakers will be joined by hosts Mount Saint Joseph along with other cross-conference competition. 

The Coach: Ron Combs continues his 24th season as the head coach of Wilmington's men's and women's track and field teams. Combs has been named Coach of the Year, twice by the Heartland Athletic Conference, and once by the OAC. In 2002, he led the men's indoor team to a sixth-place finish at NCAA DIII Championships.

Who to Watch: Madison Dietz and Kayli Sullivan are well-known names to the track and field team. Top-seeded Dietz looks to continue to score in both long jump and triple jump while top-seeded Sullivan has her eyes locked in shot put.
