Women's Track & Field Starts Indoor Season at Tiger Open

WILMINGTON, Ohio -  Wilmington women's track and field leads off the 2021-2022 indoor track season at the Tiger Open at Wittenberg University.  

The Schedule: The day starts with throwing events at 11:00 AM followed by track events starting at 12:30. 

The Teams: The Quakers will face off against 10+ teams in the season opener.

The Coach: Ron Combs continues his 24th season as the head coach of Wilmington's men's and women's track and field teams. Combs has been named Coach of the Year, twice by the Heartland Athletic Conference, and once by the OAC. In 2002, he led the men's indoor team to a sixth-place finish at NCAA DIII Championships.

Who to Watch: Madison Dietz hopes to show out in the long jump and triple jump while the runners have a few new faces to indoor track.
