NEW CONCORD – The Wilmington College women's track and field team placed fifth of five teams Friday at the Amy Adams Invitational hosted by Muskingum.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Senior Marissa Bolen (Gibsonburg, OH/Gibsonburg) continues her stellar senior season by winning the shot put (12.76), while placing third in the hammer (40.19) and fourth in the discus (32.34).
- Junior Angela Dorsett (Pittsburgh, PA/West Mifflin) won the triple jump with a personal best distance of 10.5 meters.
- Freshman Sarah Pierce (New Carlisle, OH/Dominion Academy) was second in the 2000 steeplechase (9:02.63) and sophomore Ashley Lovett (Washington Court House, OH/Washington Senior) was third in the 400 hurdles (1:11.75).

Wilmington travels to Danville, KY to compete in the Centre Invitational Saturday.
