Women's Swimming Hosts Manchester on Saturday

MEET PROGRAM

WILMINGTON, Ohio - The Wilmington College women's swimming team hosts Manchester University for the final dual meet of the 2021 calendar year on Saturday. Events are slated to begin at 1 p.m.

The Coaches: Trip Breen is in his 23rd season as the head coach of Wilmington's men's and women's swimming teams. Breen has been named Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) Men's Coach of the Year four times, the most recently in the 2016-17 season. Roger Karns is in his firt season as Manchester's swimming & diving coach.

Who to Watch: Ashley Carlson (sprint) and Emma Thompson (middle distance) have been the Quakers' top performers in freestyle events while Sierra Szuhay has swum WC's best marks in backstroke events. Anna Endsley has the program's best three times in butterfly events while McKenzie Danhoff will swim breaststroke events.

Up Next: Wilmington has one more meet, the Corbiere-Merion Invitational hosted by Ohio Wesleyan University, this calendar year. The two-day event is slated for Nov. 20-21.
