Women's Swimming to Face Transylvania & Wittenberg in Double Dual Saturday

WILMINGTON, Ohio - The Wilmington College women's swimming team heads south to Lexington, Kentucky, this weekend for a double dual meet with Wittenberg University and host Transylvania University on Saturday. Events are scheduled to begin at 1 p.m.

The Coaches: Trip Breen is in his 23rd season as the head coach of Wilmington's men's and women's swimming teams. Breen has been named Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) Men's Coach of the Year four times, the most recently in the 2016-17 season. Dave Doolin is in his fifth season as Transylvania's head coach while Samantha Williams, who spent two years as an assistant coach at WC, is in her first season as Wittenberg's head coach.

Who to Watch: Sierra Szuhay will look to build upon an even win in the 100-meter backstroke (1:14.16) as well as two third-place swims in the 50-meter backstroke and 100-meter IM. Maryn Herring (butterfly), McKenzie Danhoff (breaststroke), Audrey Bibb (freestyle) and Peyton Mullins (freestyle) all placed third in the dual with Ohio Northern University last Friday.
