(TIFFIN, Ohio) – The Wilmington College women's outdoor track & field team completed the Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) Outdoor Track & Field Championships Friday afternoon in sixth place with 50 points. They scored 40 points during competition today.
Winning her second event of the weekend and scoring 10 points for the Quakers was Faith Duncan. She lapped the field in the 5,000 Meter Run with a time of 17:05.64, as second place finished in 17:49.26. This earned Duncan her second First Team All-OAC honor of the weekend. Duncan was the Co-Winner, with Baldwin Wallace University's Hope Murphy, of the Dave Lehman Female Distance Runner of the Year.
Four Quakers scored in the Hammer Throw as they gathered 18 points in the event. Lucy Trout was second with a personal best mark of 46.71m to score eight points. This earned Trout Second Team All-OAC in the event. Camya Calloway was fourth with a mark of 43.45m for five points. Amy Myers was sixth with a personal best toss of 42.61m for three points. Abby Lodewyck was seventh with a mark of 41.73m for two points.
Haley Cook scored in both the 400 and 200m Dashes. In the 400, she ran a personal best time of 57.95 to finish third and score six points. She finished eighth in the 200 with a time of 26.69 for one point. She earned Third Team All-OAC in the 400.
The final scorers for Wimington were the 4x400m Relay team of Kylee Schafer, Rachel Spanfellner, Hayden Setty, and Cook. They finished with a season best time of 4:06.17 to finish fourth and score five points.
