Duncan and Cook Compete at the Mount Union Last Chance Meet Saturday

(ALLIANCE, Ohio) – The Wilmington College women's track & field team competed at the Mount Union Last Chance Meet Saturday afternoon, hosted by the University of Mount Union. The meet was unscored. Faith Duncan and Haley Cook were the lone Quakers to race for Wilmington, as they were in the 800 Meter Run. Duncan finished fifth in the event with a time of 2:19.91, while Cook was 12th at 2:27.06.

Duncan is set to qualify for the national meet in the Mile after a converted time of 4:56.48 at Muskie Meet #4 and the 3000 Meter Run after her time of 9:43.87 at the GVSU Big Meet.

What's Up Next

Duncan will head to Virginia Beach, Virginia for the NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships next Friday and Saturday.

The prelims of the Mile take place on Friday afternoon with the finals coming Saturday afternoon. The finals of the 3000 Meter Run take place on Saturday evening.
