AUSTINTOWN, Ohio - Wilmington College men's soccer senior Niklas Martensson has been named the Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for games played from Oct. 1-6.

Martensson scored one goal and dished out two assists in the Fightin' Quakers' 7-1 thrashing of Muskingum University on Wednesday. He then scored both of Wilmington's goals including the game-winning penalty kick in overtime in a 2-1 victory over No. 13 The University of Mount Union.

Wilmington (7-4-0, 2-1-0 OAC) faces Ohio Northern University on the road on Wednesday before hosting Marietta College on Saturday.
