(CINCINNATI, Ohio) - The Wilmington College men's basketball team drops the second game of the Lauren Hill Tip-Off Classic to Hanover College 69-96 on Sunday. The Quakers fall to an even 1-1 on the young season.
The Quakers and the Panthers battled back and forth through the first 10 minutes of the first half. The Quakers took the lead with 7 minutes to go in the first as Kellen Baltazar sank a three to make the score 28-27. That was the last time the sqaud saw the lead the rest of the half. Hanover closed out the first half taking a 46-36 lead into halftime.
The second half started out slow for both teams as their was less than single-digit points scored in the firts 5 minutes. The Panthers continued their hot run into the second half and through the rest of the game against the Quakers. The final score was 69-96 in favor of the Panthers.
