WILMINGTON, Ohio – Wilmington College baseball senior Gage Bley has earned Second Team All-Mideast Region honors as the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) released its ABCA/Rawlings Division III All-Region teams on Tuesday.

Bley, who was also the first Fightin' Quaker to earn First Team All-Ohio Athletic Conference honors since Aaron Lawson and Justin Evans in 2003, had a banner offensive year and led Wilmington in several offensive categories including: batting average (.395), hits (62), runs (32), doubles (19), triples (2) and RBI 33. The Harrison native finished fourth in the OAC in batting average and currently sits 10th in NCAA Division III in doubles with 19. In conference play, he hit an even .500 and struck out just a single time in 74 at bats. Additionally, Bley was named Most Valuable Player by the Wilmington coaching staff.

Wilmington finished its 2019 season with an 8-29 overall record and a 4-14 mark in OAC competition. The four conference victories are the most since the 2011 season.
