Vittorio Announces Addition to Baseball Staff

WILMINGTON, Ohio - Wilmington College Head Baseball Coach Tony Vittorio has announced the addition of Patrick Morrow to the Fightin' Quakers' coaching staff.

"I am excited to add Patrick [Morrow] to our baseball program as he is a young and energetic coach who will be engaged in developing our players and baseball program on and off the field," Vittorio said.

For the past five years, Morrow has been training/instructing baseball and softball players at Cate's Cages as well as Hitter's Hangout Academy in the Richmond, Indiana, area.  During his time at both facilities, Morrow conducted numerous baseball camps and clinics for players ranging from youth to college.

Morrow was also the assistant baseball coach at Richmond High School for two years, aiding both hitters and infielders. He was given the duties of speed and agility as well as field maintenance for the baseball program. Morrow assisted in leading Richmond to the 2011 sectional title, the program's first since the 2004 season.  He was also named a two-time Gold Glove winner and the Offensive Most Valuable Player during his high school career as a Red Devil.

Morrow started his collegiate career at Earlham College and finished his degree at Indiana University East.

Current Assistant Coach and Recruiting Coordinator Danny Thomas will remain with the program in that capacity.
