Women's Cross Country Places Ninth at OAC Championships

(FINDLAY, Ohio) - The Wilmington College women's cross-country team placed ninth at The Ohio Athletic Championships hosted by Ohio Northern University. John Carroll University came away with the team victory, scoring 32 total points. Ohio Northern (62) and Mount Union (72) rounded out the top three respectively. 

The freshmen duo of Hayden Setty and Meghan Cory had a great start to their post-season career. Setty finished 42nd overall (33rd for team scores), running a personal best time by over a minute in the 6,000-meter run clocking in at 24:13. Cory finished 53rd overall (37th for team scores), also running a personal best by over a minute in a time of 24:26. The Quaker duo will be one to look forward to over the next couple of seasons. Veteran, Bella Stevens, rounded out the top-three for the squad finishing 52nd in team scoring. 

The Quakers will continue the post-season in Norton, Ohio on November 11th for the NCAA Great Lakes Regional Championships.
