(WILMINGTON, Ohio) - The Wilmington College men's cross country team continues the 2023 postseason at the Great Lakes Regional Championships on Saturday. The event will be hosted by conference-mates, John Carroll, for the first time in history in Norton, Ohio.

The Schedule: The women's 6,000-meter race is slated to start at 12:00 PM after the men's race.

The Competition: The Quakers go head-to-head against other Division III competition in the Great Lakes Region.

The Coach: Ron Combs is in his 28th season as head cross country coach at Wilmington College. A 1993 graduate of Wilmington, Combs was a member of the only cross country team to win a conference title in school history. Also the head track & field coach at the College, Combs led the Quakers to two top-10 finishes nationally with a sixth place finish at the 2002 NCAA Division III Men's Indoor Track & Field Championships and a seventh place mark at the 2004 Women's Indoor Track & Field Championships.

The Squad: The squad will be led by freshman duo of Hayden Setty and Meghan Cory. The two first-year runners have had a great start to their career, after both placing in the top-55 at the OAC Championships a few weeks ago. The third-year runner, Bella Stevens, will look to round out the top-three for the Quakers.
