(NEWVILLE, Pennsylvania) - The Wilmington College Women's Cross Country team competed in its second out-of-state meet on Saturday. The team finished 39th on the day at the DIII Pre-National Championships. Claremont-Mudd-Scripts came away with the overall team victory, while MIT and Williams rounded out the top three respectfully.
The freshmen duo of Hayden Setty and Meghan Cory ran side-by-side as they led the Quakers on the day. Setty finished with a time of 25:45 with Cory close behind crossing in a time of 25:51. Veteran Quaker, Bella Stevens, rounded out the top-three for the squad.
Wilmington will host the JennaStrong Fall Classic on Friday, October 13th at Wilmington College.
