Wrestling Bested by John Carroll in Final Home Dual of the Season

(WILMINGTON, Ohio) – The Wilmington College wrestling team finished up their home dual schedule Saturday afternoon against the John Carroll University Blue Streaks at Fred Raizk Arena in Hermann Court. They lost 51-0 and are now 1-6 in dual action this season and 1-4 in the Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC).

The Quakers had five contested matches in the dual. Rylan Hurst lost by tech. fall to Kyle Bizjak at 149 pounds. Aaron Pardo was pinned by Patrick McGraw at 157 pounds. Adam Salek beat Garrett Simmons by tech. fall at 165 pounds. Daniel Devera defeated Alexander Ruth by tech. fall at 174 pounds. At heavyweight, Joey Kocher made his season debut for Wilmington in a losing effort, being pinned by Thomas Lunt.
