WILMINGTON, Ohio – The Wilmington College men's soccer team hosts Capital University for a Senior Night contest at Williams Stadium on Wednesday evening. Kickoff for the Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) contest is slated for 7 p.m.

The Teams: Wilmington and Capital. The Fightin' Quakers enter the contest with an 11-1-3 overall record and a 4-1-2 OAC mark after a come-from-behind 2-1 win at Baldwin Wallace University on Saturday. The Comets are 9-5-1 overall and 4-2-1 in conference competition after a 3-0 defeat at Ohio Northern University on Saturday.

The Coaches: Alex Van der Sluijs is in his fourth year leading Wilmington's men's soccer team. He worked at Defiance College for seven seasons. Alan Yost, an Ohio Wesleyan University alumnus, enters his 10th season as Capital's head men's soccer coach. He's guided the Comets to two NCAA Division III Men's Soccer Tournament appearances in the last four seasons.

The Players: Seniors Yusef Muqtadir and Elorm Dogbey lead the Quaker offense combining for 16 goals and five assists. Jeffry Vasquez and Michael Owusu have also notched over 10 points on the season. Anchored by a stout defense, senior goalkeeper Felix Maurer has a goals-against-average over 0.78 with five shutouts and 45 saves to his name. A trio of Comets - Jack Kossoudji, Jack Francisco and Sam Spirk - have combined for 15 of the Comets' 31 goals on the season. Capital has rotated three different individuals at goalkeeper throughout the season.

Regional Rankings: Wilmington is currently fourth in the most recent United Soccer Coaches Regional Rankings.

Senior Night: Wednesday's contest marks the final regular season home game for eight seniors - Alexis Arevalos, Bryce Roberts, Mitch Solle, Bradyn Riffle, Felix Maurer, Michael Owusu, Elorm Dogbey and Yusef Muqtadir. A brief ceremony will be held for them prior to the contest.
